Siemens charging stations

Reference

Last year, we told you about our growing cooperation in e-mobility with our business partner Siemens and about five joint installations of E.ON Drive charging units. We have now extended our cooperation to Slovakia.
In May this year, we were part of the launch there of the first Siemens DC charging station with card payment. Two new charging stations for electric vehicles, with three charging points, were opened at Business Centre Moldavská in Košice.

The chargers from our business partner Siemens have an output of 30 and 60 kW and serve not only the business centre’s customers; thanks to their convenient location, they can also be used by the general public. Customers can also pay by card here, thanks to our contactless payment terminal, the Ingenico Self/2000.
In Slovakia, we integrated our payment technology into the control system  of the chargers operated by SEAK Energetics, a specialist in SMART solutions for large cities in the field of electricity sharing.

We are delighted with this pilot project by the three companies in Slovakia and hope that more projects like it will appear on Slovak roads over the course of this year and next.
