Upgrading unattended payment terminals

News

The best strategy for growing a business is to move to modern technology. Only if your business is equipped with modern devices can it keep pace with customers’ growing demands and improve the speed of service, security and the accuracy of payment entry.

We are keeping up with the times too, and over the spring and summer of 2021 we will be bringing our customers and business partners a new, upgraded range of contactless payment terminals from the leading manufacturer Ingenico. The Self Series offers direct access to cashless payment technologies. By choosing the right model, you ensure acceptance of contact or contactless payments. The new Self/2000, Self/4000 and Self/7000 terminals are user-friendly and compact. They are designed for integration into both indoor and outdoor self-service devices.

The Self/4000 and Self/7000 models are ‘three-in-one’ devices that can accept all types of payment thanks to an integrated contactless reader and a hybrid card reader for contact cards. The PIN can be entered directly on the screen or on a mechanical keypad, depending on the type of device.

The innovative Self range of payment terminals will gradually replace the Ingenico iUC180 (IP, GPRS) terminal we currently offer and will complement the large CAT set (iUP250LE; iUR250; iUC150B). The newer payment terminals have smaller mounting dimensions than the current hardware, but an adapter plate will be supplied with every unit. The new solution supports the current version of the ECR2 protocol and is compatible with all the services offered by our company, SONET.
